Asteroid Day – 30 June 2017

Asteroid Day is an annual global event, held on the anniversary of the 30 June 1908 Siberian Tunguska explosion. On 6 December 2016 The United Nations proclaimed that Asteroid Day will be celebrated on 30 June every year.

Astronomical Observatory, together with the Polish Amateur Astronomy Society and Estrada Poznańska, under the auspices of the President of Poznań, organize this year’s event, which will take place in the centre of art and culture SPOT. , at Dolna Wilda 87 in Poznań.
